Assassins

Assassins has been around for some time with a number of variations, but traditionally the core gameplay remains the same.  In Assassins, players try to eliminate each other from the game in an effort to become the last surviving player.

Each player is issued a target, which that player attempts to find.  Once located, the player approaches their target and performs a "kill", taking that players current target.  This continues until the game is over (i.e. time runs out) or there is only one player remaining.

Identification

In Assassins, you're hardest challenge will be in identifying your targets from amongst the crowd.  Each player will be issued a colored shape that will identify them similar to the ones below.

These symbols will be printed onto a plastic card that players will wear during the game.  This card is made up of two parts, a large squarish part that will have a large version of your identifying symbol, and a rectangular piece that snaps off that has a small version of your symbol as well as a small version of your targets symbol.

Moving in for the Kill

When you have found your target, approach them and show them your current target keytag, which should have your targets symbol on the bottom.  This is how you identify to your target that you are their assassin.  Once this has been verified, your target will give you their current targets keytag, and the target of that keytag becomes your new target.

Make sure they are your target before you do this, don't stop any player just to see if it's them.  If they are doing something that takes concentration or has a line, you should be courteous and wait for them to finish before approaching. Use your own judgement.

When you are approached, and a player displays a keytag with your symbol at the bottom, you have been assassinated.  Do not attempt to run.

Assassins Kit

An Assassins Kit consists of your Assassins badge and holder and maybe a few extras just because we're awesome like that.  Kits can be ordered online for all our scheduled games.

Safe Zones

Certain areas are considered off-limits for attacking other Assassins players. When a player is in one of these areas they cannot be eliminated.
